Job summary

ReNEW Schools in Indiana is seeking a Special Education Behavior Education Teacher of Record to support students with emotional and behavioral needs in a self-contained classroom. You will develop and implement IEPs and coordinate services in compliance with IDEA and state regulations.

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will lead IEP meetings, maintain accurate records, and deliver differentiated instruction while monitoring progress and data-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• Knowledge of IDEA, FAPE, and related regulations.
• Experience with IEP development and case management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs and individualized supports for students with EBD.
• Lead IEP meetings and coordinate services in a self-contained setting.
• Collaborate with parents, paraprofessionals, general education teachers, and administrators.
• Use data to monitor student progress and adjust behavior plans.
• Provide direct instruction and behavioral support consistent with regulations.
