Job summary

West Des Moines Community Schools is seeking a Special Education Assistant at Crossroads Park Elementary in West Des Moines, Iowa. Immediate starting date with a daily schedule of 6.75 hours from 8:45 am to 4:00 pm, supporting students and classrooms in a Special Education setting.

Candidates must be patient, flexible, and willing to complete Nonviolent Crisis Prevention (CPI) training provided by the district upon hire. This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $18.16 per hour.

Job Description

6.75 hr/day, 8:45 am – 4:00 pm. Must be patient and flexible. Candidate will need to successfully complete both written and physical components of Nonviolent Crisis Prevention (CPI) training provided by district upon hire.
