Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Medical Technologist I to join the Special Chemistry team in Indianapolis, IN. The role supports clinical testing with a Monday-Friday schedule, 2pm-10:30pm, and requires a Bachelor's degree in a chemical/biological science or MLS, with relevant lab experience.

ASCP/AMT certification is preferred, and candidates must meet CLIA and state regulatory requirements. Sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree credentials meeting CLIA/State requirements.
• One year of clinical laboratory testing experience or MLS degree.
• ASCP or AMT certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine acceptability of specimens for testing per SOPs.
• Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures and functions.
• Monitor instrumentation and troubleshoot as needed.
• Report accurate test results to support patient care.
• Maintain quality control and proper safety practices.
