Job summary

The successful candidate must have a law degree and be eligible for Rhode Island bar, with four to nine years of litigation experience; strong written and oral advocacy, and the ability to work independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in good standing or RI bar eligibility.
• 4–9 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong written and oral advocacy and negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

• Case development and pre-trial litigation.
• Draft, file, and argue motions and memoranda.
• Litigate in state and federal court on behalf of the state.
• Provide regulatory and agency advising and trial support.
