PSI Pax, Inc. in Providence, RI seeks an Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of civil litigation experience to join our office. The role involves depositions, motions, research, and trial preparation, with direct client contact and collaboration with insurers and senior litigators.

Qualifications include a J.D. from an accredited law school, active Rhode Island Bar admission, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage cases and work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the Rhode Island Bar (required).
• Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Strong oral advocacy and communication abilities.
• Proven case management and organizational skills.

• Massachusetts and/or Connecticut Bar admission is a plus.

Job description

We are a rapidly growing law firm in Providence, Rhode Island.

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our office. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of litigation experience and be licensed to practice law in Rhode Island.

The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of civil litigation, including:

• Conducting and defending depositions
• Drafting and arguing motions
• Performing legal research and analysis
• Attending court conferences and hearings
• Managing client communications and counseling
• Participating in settlement negotiations and mediations
• Preparing cases for trial and participating in trial proceedings

This position offers the opportunity to assume significant responsibility and work directly with clients, insurers, and experienced litigators on complex matters.
