Job summary

Rockland Trust is seeking a Special Assets Lending Specialist to provide administrative, operational, and portfolio management support for higher‑risk commercial credit relationships. The role liaises with Relationship Managers, Loan Operations, Credit Administration, and outside counsel to ensure accurate recordkeeping and timely information flow.

You will gather borrower financial information, coordinate documentation, and assist with loan modifications, appraisals, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 2-5 years in commercial banking, credit administration, loan operations, or related financial services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Special Assets Group for higher-risk commercial credit relationships.
• Coordinate with multiple internal teams and outside counsel to ensure accurate recordkeeping and timely information flow.
• Assist with gathering borrower financial information, collateral, and guarantor details for portfolio monitoring.
• Manage transfer of customer files to Special Assets, and support loan modifications and documentation tracking.
• Support internal audits, regulatory examinations, and portfolio reporting.
