Job summary

The Oklahoma DAC often assigns the Special Agent - Criminal Investigator to the Criminal Investigations Unit. This position requires handling cases assigned by the Chief Investigator and conducting investigations into alleged violations of Oklahoma State law.

Applicants must be CLEET certified with at least five years of full-time law enforcement experience, and must reside within District 22 or relocate. On-call 24/7 availability and a comprehensive background check are required.

Qualifications

• CLEET full-time certification required.
• Minimum five years of full-time law enforcement experience; investigative experience preferred.
• Must reside within District 22 or relocate within reasonable time; pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Investigate suspected violations of Oklahoma State law.
• Locate, interview, and collect statements from victims, witnesses, and suspects.
• Collect evidence at crime scenes, complete applications for search warrants, and perform interrogations.
• Assemble charge packets.
