Job summary

Reunited Clothing is seeking a Spec Technical Designer (Apparel) for a full-time, on-site role in New York, NY. You will create and maintain detailed technical packages, review tech packs, and collaborate with design and production teams to ensure fit and quality.

You’ll work with pattern makers and factories to resolve construction issues and support sample approvals. You will measure incoming samples, prep fittings, and help document revisions to keep specs organized and aligned with design

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of experience.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of pattern making and garment construction.

Responsibilities

• Measure proto, fit, PP and at times TOP/Bulk Pulls samples on schedule.
• Spec garments, create and/or adjust the POM based on the garment.
• Prep the specs/pictures into the Tech Packs as needed.
• Sketch detailed flats on Illustrator/Excel.

Role Description

The Spec Technical Designer (Apparel) is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining detailed technical packages, including measurements, construction details, and specifications for a variety of apparel categories. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and updating tech packs, collaborating with design and production teams, attending fittings, and documenting fit comments to ensure garments meet design intent and quality standards. The Spec Technical Designer will work closely with pattern makers and factories to resolve construction issues, improve fit consistency, and support on-time sample and production approvals. The role also involves monitoring production samples, communicating technical feedback to vendors, and maintaining organized records of specifications and revisions.

The Spec Technician will be responsible for measuring all incoming samples and prep for fittings alongside the tech designers.
