Delaware Valley School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant/Special Education Instructional Assistant to support classroom instruction district-wide. The role involves aiding teachers with small groups or individual students, developing learning materials, and supervising cafeteria and hallways.
A basic understanding of child growth and development is required. Qualified candidates will have an Associate Degree or 48 college credits and must meet all clearance requirements.

The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include assisting classroom teachers in working with small groups or individual students in the reinforcement of instruction; development of learning materials to be utilized within the classroom; the supervision of cafeteria, hallways and other duties. The candidate must have a basic understanding of child growth and development.
An Act 34 Criminal History Clearance Report, an Act 151 Child Abuse History Clearance Report, an FBI Fingerprint Clearance Report, and a pre-employmnet drug test are necessary, along with all other required employment forms. An Associates Degree or 48 college credits is required.
The salary is in accordance with the classified negotiated contract. This position will remain open until filled. Equal Opportunity Employer
