Job summary

selfpublishing.com is seeking a dynamic Speaker & Sales Representative to join our Austin-based sales team. This in-office, full-time role requires traveling to 6–20 events annually to present, enroll authors, and drive revenue from stage.

• Experience speaking or presenting at live events.
• 3+ years of top performing sales experience.

• Living within 30 minutes of Westlake, Austin.

What You Bring:

Required:

• Experience speaking or presenting at live events
• 3+ years of top performing sales experience
• Experience in sales and meeting quota.
• Strong CRM and sales process proficiency
• Willingness to travel 6 to 20 times per year
• Living within 30 minutes of Westlake, Austin

Bonus Points If You Have:

• 5+ years of high performance sales experience
• $1M+ in total lifetime sales
• Experience with high volume, low ticket sales ($5K or less, short sales cycles)
• Experience as a paid or featured speaker at conferences or events

Compensation & Benefits:

• On target earnings: $80,000 to $150,000+ annually
• Base pay: $35,000 to $50,000, plus incentive compensation
• Proven pay structure: Same compensation model as our sales team, so your earnings grow directly with your results

Location & Hours: This is a full time, in office role (45+ hours a week) based at our Austin, TX headquarters, with travel to 6 to 20 events per year.
