Job summary

selfpublishing.com in Austin, TX is seeking a Sales Development Representative to turn warm leads into strategy-call appointments for our Publishing Strategists. This in-office role requires energy, coachability, and a track record of selling with numbers attached.

You'll earn base salary of $35,000 with aggressive on-target earnings (OTE) of $80,000–$140,000. Top performers exceed $140,000 annually, with room for growth into higher roles.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a sales role with a number attached to it
• Live in the Austin area, or move here before your start date
• Work in person, full time, at our Westlake office
• Comfortable on the phone all day and great with people

What You'll Do

How You Ramp

• Week 1: learn the playbook and get your reps in on the phone
• Week 2: you're live on inbound leads, with daily Q&A and 3 to 5 call reviews a week
• Our fastest recent SDR booked $212,000 in sales in his first 70 days. That's the bar.

Requirements

What You'll Earn

• Base salary: $35,000
• On target earnings, year 1: $80,000 to $140,000 (uncapped commission)
• Top SDRs earn $110,000 to $140,000+ a year
• Path to Account Executive, where our reps earn $150,000 to $400,000+
