Job summary

Adventure Hospitality, LLC is seeking a Speakeasy Doorperson for the Lake Geneva Maxwell Mansion & Boutique Hotel. You will be the first face guests see, welcoming them while maintaining a safe, secure environment and supporting the bar team as a Barback when needed.

The ideal candidate has guest service experience and thrives in a fast-paced setting, especially during nights and weekends. Comfort with ID checks and capacity rules is required, with physical stamina for standing long hours.

We are looking for a Speakeasy Doorperson. This role ensures the safety and security of all our guests and staff while ensuring our guests and customers' have an environment that is a positive and unique experience. In addition, this role will serve as a Barback as required by the business.

This role requires previous guest service experience and feel capable working well in stressful, high-pressure situations, including ability to handle guest objections and disputes to satisfactory results while maintain composure and clearly identify threats and when guests should not be served any further alcoholic beverages.Must be comfortable checking identification and ensuring capacity limits are being followed, be able to lift more than 50 lbs, constantly be on your feet, standing for long periods of time, be creative, help the team where help is needed throughout the property, keep a clean work area, and have a superior customer service-driven approach.

A flexible schedule is required and must be available for nights and weekends.
