Job summary

Maxwell Mansion in Lake Geneva, WI is seeking a friendly Guest Services team member to ensure exceptional, 5-star experiences for every guest. You will answer phones, book reservations, assist with arrival/departure, deliver amenity packages and help with events while keeping the property pristine.

This year-round, full-time role requires nights and weekends, a valid US driver’s license, and willingness to work across departments.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality/front desk experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Valid US driver’s license; willingness to obtain beverage license.

Come work at the exciting and historic Lake Geneva Maxwell Mansion & Boutique Hotel! Join our team of talented staff and be a part of the most unique and exciting location in Lake Geneva! We are a 28-room upscale boutique hotel with two incredible unique bars and lounges. This role is responsible for making and cultivating the end-to-end guest experience so that they write 5-star reviews and have all their friends wanting to come to Maxwell.

We are looking for a hardworking team member to work 3-5 days a week between the hours of 7am and 11pm, at times overnight hours might be available. This is a year-round job and is not seasonal. In this role you will be responsible for various key tasks throughout the property including but not limited to ensuring guests rooms are ready for arrival, creating and delivering amenity packages, answering phones, booking reservations, assisting guests with arrival/departure, ensuring the grounds and Mansion are constantly shining, assisting with events held on property, working in the kitchen, andwilling to assist anywhere as needed on property, and providing transportation in our vintage electric buggy! Apply today! Must work nights and weekends, be able to lift more than 50 lbs, constantly be on your feet, sit for periods of time at a desk, be a self-starter, able to work alone, and be a step ahead of your managers and guests needs. This position requires you to have a valid US driver's license and have or will obtain your beverage operator's license from the City of Lake Geneva. If you do not have your operator's license, we will reimburse the cost of the operator's license from the City once your license is issued. Previous hospitality experience working guest services/front desk is preferred.

In addition to our highly competitive hourly pay, guest service team members receive a portion of the Hotel Service Charge. At Maxwell, we charge a 6% service charge on our nightly room rates in place of a resort fee. In addition, individuals who assist or work with events will receive a portion of the event service charge. These service charges, less a small percentage, are given to a team based on our hours worked in addition to our highly competitive hourly pay structure.
