Job summary

10x Genomics, Inc. in Pleasanton, CA, seeks an exceptional scientist to contribute to Spatial Biology product development, enabling mapping of proteins and biomolecules within intact tissues.

You will design, run, and troubleshoot assays for spatial multiomics, collaborating with chemistry, computational biology, software, engineering and microfluidics to bring new products to life. PhD in relevant field and 2+ years imaging experience required; FFPE/histology/immunohistochemistry experience

Qualifications

• PhD in Cell Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry or related field.
• 2+ years hands-on experience in proteomics, in situ hybridization or spatial imaging.
• Experience with tissue processing, histology, immunohistochemistry and cryosectioning.
• Experience with antibodies including QC, conjugation or functional testing.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, good written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Optimize tissue handling and processing for protein staining and FFPE samples.
• Design and execute experiments with novel imaging/biochemistry platforms for spatial tech.
• Collaborate with computational biology and software engineers to interpret data.
