Qualifications

  • Proven ability to design molecular biology assay schemes (peer-reviewed publications or published patents).
  • Strong analytical skills: fluency in R, Python or AI-aided coding to perform ad-hoc analysis.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment.
  • Experience with the 10x Genomics Xenium platform is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated scientist to drive new research and product development efforts in our Spatial Biology department. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in molecular biology, with strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with biomolecule imaging platforms. This role will involve designing, running, and troubleshooting experiments to help develop and optimize new assays in spatial transcriptomics. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across chemistry, computational biology, software, engineering, and microfluidics to bring new products to life. We're looking for someone with strong analytical skills, curiosity about new technologies, and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
