Job summary

Miltenyi Biotec, Inc. is seeking an R&D Scientist I to advance spatial biology and multiomics sequencing workflows, enabling robust end‑to‑end analysis from sample prep through data interpretation.

You will work at the intersection of molecular biology, NGS, and imaging, contributing to platform development and product commercialization while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize workflows for spatial biology, multiomics sequencing, and ISS platforms.
• Design, execute, and analyze lab experiments supporting MACSima Seq, RNA Sky, and related applications.
• Develop new methods for immunohistochemistry, tissue analysis, and molecular profiling.
• Perform DNA/RNA extraction, library preparation, sequencing runs, and assay validation.
• Support workflow optimization and performance improvement across sequencing and imaging platforms.
• Evaluate data, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions to improve product performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align research with commercialization goals.
• Provide training and mentoring to researchers when required.
