Cedars-Sinai's Spatial Molecular Profiling Shared Resource is seeking a Research Associate II to support advanced molecular profiling workflows and daily lab operations. You will perform increasingly complex protocols, maintain equipment, and ensure quality documentation while collaborating with investigators.

The ideal candidate has a strong lab foundation, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, with an interest in spatial biology and cutting-edge profiling technologies.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field.
• At least 1 year of research laboratory experience.
• Experience with molecular biology techniques (nucleic acid extraction, PCR/qPCR, sequencing).
• Familiarity with spatial biology, spatial transcriptomics or related technologies.
• Interest in developing expertise in spatial biology and molecular profiling.

Mansioni

• Perform specialized research services and complex protocols.
• Support workflows and operational activities for multiple investigators.
• Conduct QC procedures and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Maintain instrumentation and equipment.
• Keep accurate lab documentation and tracking files.
• Support data organization and materials for presentations.
• Coordinate logistics, supply management, and scheduling.
• Train junior staff and visiting researchers on SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
