Job summary

Moodys NWC in Redmond, WA, seeks an experienced Project Manager IV to support Reality Labs Research Audio, focusing on spatial and binaural audio capture. This onsite, 12-month contract role collaborates with researchers, engineers, PhD interns, and cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and track projects.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of PM experience in research or tech environments, with familiarity in MATLAB, Python, C++, or Max/MSP.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of project management experience in R&D/engineering contexts.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time.
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and fast-paced research environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, C++, Max/MSP.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, tracking, and reporting for R&D initiatives.
• Support spatial audio capture research with researchers, software engineers, and PhD interns.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and status reports.
• Coordinate across research, engineering, product, and other teams for successful execution.
• Track progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.
• Provide procurement and operational support for projects and technical teams.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced research environment.
• Communicate status, timelines, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
• Foster collaboration across team members and broader organization.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation.
• Identify challenges and coordinate solutions.
• Support R&D activities related to spatial/binaural audio and signal processing.
