Job summary

Navflex is building autonomous mobile robots for real-world logistics. You will advance spatial AI, perception, and state estimation, turning academic methods into production-ready capabilities deployed on fleet vehicles.

The role emphasizes translating literature into robust systems, validating results on real sensor data, and collaborating with software engineers to ship features that customers experience in warehouses and yards.

Qualifications

• Must have an MS or higher in CS/Robotics/CE/EE or related field.
• Proven track record in research projects or theses with results presentation.
• Ability to stay current with relevant literature and defend results.
• Willingness to seek guidance from senior team members on production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Take promising methods from literature from prototype to validated on-vehicle capability.
• Train, evaluate, and iterate models on real fleet data from production vehicles.
• Build and maintain a 3D representation used by the stack including calibration and sensor health.
• Contribute to baselines and evaluation methodology; refine team standards.
• Collaborate with core software and test engineering on annotation pipelines, data infrastructure, and simulation tooling.
