Job summary

Navflex, a leader in AI-enabled robotics for logistics, seeks a Senior Software Engineer, Architecture in Colorado. You will own the robot software stack, from application architecture to real-time execution, and ensure safe, scalable deployments on a fleet of AMRs.

You’ll integrate with ROS, VDA5050/MQTT, and industrial I/O while mentoring engineers and driving performance improvements across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience contributing to and maintaining production system architecture.
• Mentors junior engineers and contributes to engineering culture.
• Strong collaboration across teams to solve complex problems.
• Hands-on real-time Linux and low-latency validation on hardware.

Responsibilities

• Robot application architecture with task/order state machines and workflow orchestration.
• Real-time execution design: CPU pool, core pinning, and containerized deployment.
• Performance debugging for jitter, deadlines, and cross-stack contention.
• Integrations: VDA5050/MQTT, LIF, geoJSON, WMS, EtherNet/IP, CAN.
• On-vehicle telemetry and persistent history with versioned migrations.
• Mentorship and participation in testing strategy and code reviews.
