Duration: 5 Months+

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Schedule: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (Monday - Friday)

Job Overview

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for providing superior sales support and customer service by collaborating with the distribution team through receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment functions, aligned with organizational Lean objectives.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and ship outbound parcels and receive inbound products.
• Review and retain task-related ERP system transactions to maintain functional expertise.
• Contribute to team goals by completing tasks and meeting key performance targets.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, keeping pallet areas, racks, shelves, and workstations tidy.
• Prepare Hazmat paperwork for shipments via UPS, FedEx, LTL.
• Prepare Bills of Lading.
• Maintain inventory control through equipment use and cycle counts.
• Follow organizational standards to ensure quality service.
• Lead projects when assigned.
• Communicate clearly both orally and in writing with internal and external customers.
• Perform a variety of roles within a workday as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Adverse Working Conditions

• Erratic temperature control, hot in summer, cold in winter.
• Work environment may involve heat, cold, noise, dust, and particles.
• Operation of large equipment and machinery, including forklifts.

Safety Equipment Required

• Observe safety regulations per Hilti and OSHA.
• Proper handling and labeling of hazardous materials.
• Wear steel toe boots, safety glasses, safety vests, and other safety gear.

Physical Requirements

• Regular heavy lifting of 50+ lbs.
• Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Use of warehouse material handling equipment and truck loading/unloading.
• Tolerance for variable climate, prolonged standing, repetitive bending, reaching, and ladder climbing.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook.
• Excellent attention to detail and math skills.
• Power equipment skills (forklift, pallet jack).
