Job summary

MAHLE GmbH is seeking a Service Engineer in Farmington Hills, MI, to define spare parts configuration, prepare BOMs, and specify packaging requirements using multiple technical systems. You will collaborate with the Head of Program Management and customers to finalize the spare parts portfolio.

The role requires a business-focused background with 5–8+ years in product & project management, strong cross-functional communication, and proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• 5–8+ years experience, Product & Project Management preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple short and long-term projects with multiple work streams.
• Identify and solve complex problems, meet deadlines with high attention to detail, work independently.
• Cross-functional interfacing across regions and cultures to build relations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentations.
• Advanced computer skills: MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Automotive/Commercial Vehicle industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defines spare parts configuration and prepares Bill of Materials and packaging requirements using multiple technical documentation systems.
• Works with Head of Program Management and customers to reach mutual agreement on spare parts portfolio.
