Job summary

MAHLE is seeking a Service Engineer in Farmington Hills, MI to define spare parts configuration, prepare Bill of Materials, and specify packaging requirements using multiple technical documentation systems. You will work closely with the Head of Program Management and customers to align on the spare parts portfolio.

The ideal candidate has a business-related bachelor’s degree and 5–8+ years in product and project management, with cross-functional collaboration across regions.

• Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple work streams.
• Cross-functional interfacing across regions and cultures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Your Contribution

Our Service Engineer defines spare parts configuration, prepares Bill of Materials, and packaging requirements utilizing multiple technical documentation systems. Works in close cooperation with the Head of Program Management and our customers to obtain mutual agreement on spare parts portfolio.

Your Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university required
• Minimum of 5 to 8+ years previous or related experience, Product & Project Management experience preferred
• Ability to manage multiple short and long-term projects with multiple work streams or departments to successful completion
• Ability to identify and take the initiative to solve complex problems, work within deadlines with high attention to detail, and work independently in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to interface cross functionally throughout various geographical regions and different cultures - influence and develop strong working relationships with all levels of employees, and senior level management and/or executives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation delivery
• Advanced computer skills, especially in MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint
• SAP experience preferred
• Automotive / Commercial Vehicle industry experience preferred
