Job summary

EKSC ElringKlinger South Carolina, LLC. is seeking a warehouse support role to manage spare parts storage and inventory, ensuring accurate in/out processing and timely checks of deliveries.

You will assist maintenance staff in locating parts and support CU processes in an international automotive supplier environment. The position emphasizes organization, accuracy, and teamwork within a leading automotive supplier with global operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in parts storage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced automotive supply environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure spare parts are correctly booked in and out of the spare parts storage.
• Organize storage locations and group similar parts together.
• Request new spare part numbers when required per CU process.
• Create purchase requisitions for parts below safety stock.
• Carry out an annual inventory count.
• Check deliveries for part accuracy and quantities.
• Assist maintenance staff in locating and selecting spare parts.
• Support the CU with spare parts tasks and remove duplicates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Ensuring spare parts are correctly booked in and out of the spare parts storage
• Organizing the spare parts storage (assigning storage locations, grouping similar spare parts together)
• If required, requesting new spare part numbers in line with the CU process
• Creating purchase requisitions for parts below safety stock
• Carrying out an annual inventory count
• Checking deliveries of parts (e.g. that the parts and quantity are correct)
• Assisting maintenance employees with searching for and selecting spare parts
• Assisting the CU with any matters relating to spare parts (e.g. eliminating duplicates)
• Other duties, as assigned
