John Jay College-CUNY invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Spanish with a specialization in Translation and Interpreting. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Translation and/or Interpreting or related discipline with academic focus and/or professional translation/interpretation experience.
• Ability to teach Spanish translation (general or legal), Spanish interpreting, and Spanish for heritage learners at all undergraduate levels.

Responsibilities

• Teach Spanish translation/interpreting courses; maintain a 4/4 teaching load (eight undergraduate courses per year).
