Job summary

WAYLAND ACADEMY is seeking a dedicated faculty member to engage with students academically and socially. Responsibilities include teaching at least four sections, coaching extracurricular activities, and mentoring students for their overall development.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teaching skills and a commitment to a vibrant learning community. A Master's Degree and boarding school experience are preferred. The position requires effective communication and the ability to foster student growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated educational or work experience in the assigned area of instruction.
• Ability to engage students in and outside the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Teach a full load of classes each semester.
• Coach two extracurricular activities per year.
• Mentor a group of students.
• Supervise residential dorms and activities.
