Job summary

Wayland Academy in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, seeks a faculty member to teach Spanish in a dynamic boarding and day school community. The position offers either a part-time or full-time schedule within an eight-period rotation and a supportive, mission-driven environment.

As a teacher-coach-mentor, you will engage students inside and outside the classroom, supervise dorm life, and contribute to a safe, inclusive campus culture.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated educational or work experience in the assigned area of instruction.
• Master's Degree or other advanced degree.
• 2 years of teaching experience in a boarding school.

Responsibilities

• Teaching: manage a full teaching load of at least four sections in the eight-period rotation each semester.
• Coaching: oversee two extra-curricular sports or activities per school year.
• Mentoring: provide academic and social-emotional support to mentees.
• Dorm Supervisor: supervise residential dorms at least one night a week and other campus duties.
