Join to apply for the Spanish Teacher role at SPLENDORA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT.

**Position Title:** Teacher

**Qualifications:** Must hold proper state certification

**Reports To:** Principal and/or other Supervisor

**Terms of Employment:** 182 days for new teachers

**Essential Job Functions:**

  • Participate in curriculum review and design.
  • Implement effective instructional strategies aligned with lesson objectives.
  • Diagnose and evaluate student abilities and progress regularly.
  • Monitor and adjust instruction based on student progress.
  • Develop programs tailored to students' individual needs.
  • Create a conducive learning environment.
  • Assess student accomplishments and provide progress reports.
  • Refer students for additional services (ESL, Reading, etc.).
  • Implement district initiatives effectively.
  • Collaborate with colleagues at the department and grade levels.

**Other Job Functions:**

  • Follow state statutes, policies, and regulations.
  • Attend meetings and perform duties as assigned.
  • Ensure safety and protection of students, staff, and facilities.
  • Maintain accurate records as required.
  • Participate in committees as assigned.
  • Stay current with educational practices and technology.
