Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced in Miami, FL. The role emphasizes flexible hours, anchored shifts, and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

The position houses a base schedule with a six-month commitment and includes a path toward full-time work within a leading North American security and facilities services company. Pay rate starts at $18.50 per hour, with a schedule that includes Sundays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screening required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, property concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
