Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol in Miami, FL. The role provides reliable, flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

This position offers part-time hours with a pathway toward more hours or full-time work across sites, plus opportunities to gain hands-on experience in security operations. Pay is $22.26 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have an associate degree or 60 college credits.
• Police or corrections training certificates are preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation and drug screen are conditions of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location while following site procedures and access-control rules.
• Conduct armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner per post orders.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of personnel, vehicles, and activities entering/leaving the site.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations and security concerns to appropriate personnel.
