KLA Industries in Adelphi, MD is seeking a Spanish-speaking phlebotomist for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. Schedule: M-F 9 am to 6 pm. Estimated duration: 3 months with potential for perm; benefits available.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling and processing, data maintenance, and ensuring specimen integrity. Must speak Spanish and hold valid phlebotomy certification with at least 6 months in a fast-paced lab or hospital.

Qualificações

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a busy lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture using proper technique.
• Label and centrifuge specimens; record maintenance data.
• Update patient information and ensure specimen integrity.
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocol.
• Explain venipuncture process to patients and comply with OSHA/DEP regulations.
