Qualifications

• Sit for long periods of time, stand for intermittent periods.

Responsibilities

• Understand confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines for PHI/EPHI.
• Provide telephonic follow-up for medication management.
• Coordinate delivery of medications to patients.
• Facilitate patient needs with the Pharmacist for clinical care.
• Manage orders until Pharmacist verification.
• Complete tasks related to medication management services.
• Access and update records via the Pharmacy network.
• Obtain refill authorizations from prescribers.
• Process and prepare third-party insurance claims.
• Maintain accurate patient profiles and documentation.
• Answer phones professionally and direct calls appropriately.
