Job summary

CLS Health PLLC is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator I in Houston, TX to streamline patient flow and deliver high-quality patient experiences. The role involves scheduling, pre-registration, insurance verification, and documentation while maintaining HIPAA compliance in a physician-led multispecialty setting.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, healthcare administration interest, and experience with EMR systems (ECW preferred).

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
Spanish-speaking required.
Experience in Sleep or Pulmonary preferred.
Proven experience in a healthcare environment.
Strong communication skills and professionalism.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (ECW preferred).

Responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality and provide high-level customer service.
Schedule appointments and assist with patient flow in the clinic.
Pre-register patients and verify accounts and insurance.
Answer calls, document interactions, and communicate with healthcare providers.
Assist with check in and check out duties.
Assist with follow-up care, appointment scheduling, and provide visit summaries.
Maintain a clean and safe environment and manage medical records.
Support medical personnel with clerical tasks and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
