Job summary

Mindify Wellness and Care seeks a compassionate Behavioral Health Clinician to serve at partner adult day care centers in Fair Lawn, NJ, with telehealth opportunities. The role involves assessments, counseling, and evidence-based interventions in a supportive community setting.

This is an Independent Contractor (1099) part-time role with onsite 1–3 days per week and hybrid options. NJ licensure (MSW/LSW/LPC/LCSW/LMFT) or eligibility is welcome; Spanish communication preferred.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in a behavioral health field required.
• NJ credentials (MSW, LSW, LAC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or licensure eligibility welcome.
• Spanish-language communication preferred.
• Experience with adults/older adults in community settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health services at partner adult day care centers and via telehealth.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual and/or group counseling within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Utilize evidence-based and person-centered treatment approaches.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to support positive client outcomes.
• Assist clients in achieving treatment goals and improving overall well-being.

Job description

Mindify Wellness and Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Clinician to provide services at one of our partner adult day care centers in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, with additional telehealth opportunities available.

This position offers the opportunity to work with adults and older adults in a supportive, community-based environment while providing meaningful behavioral health services. Clinicians will conduct assessments, provide counseling and therapeutic interventions, and may supplement their caseload through telehealth services based on client needs and provider availability.

We welcome both experienced clinicians and early-career professionals who require supervision and are eligible to practice under applicable New Jersey licensure requirements.

Position Details

Location: Fair Lawn, NJ

Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Schedule:

• Part-time
• Onsite services typically needed 1-3 days per week
• Typical onsite hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-1:00 PM
• Additional telehealth appointments may be available based on provider availability and client needs

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
• New Jersey credentials such as MSW, LSW, LAC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or eligibility for licensure and supervision are welcome
• Professional Spanish-language communication skills preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Experience working with adults, older adults, or community-based populations preferred but not required
• Ability to consistently provide onsite services in Fair Lawn, NJ
