The ideal candidate has an active U.S. license, strong Spanish and English skills, and immigration law experience.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Excellent spoken and written Spanish and English.
• Immigration law experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with USCIS, EOIR, and/or Immigration Court matters preferred.
• Excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Professional, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Genuine respect for immigrants from all backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations with prospective clients.
• Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, and other immigration agencies.
• Prepare and review immigration applications, petitions, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.
• Develop legal strategies for complex immigration matters.
• Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case progress.
• Attend hearings, interviews, and other immigration proceedings.
• Maintain accurate case notes and billing records.
• Build strong client relationships through excellent communication and service.
• Participate in firm meetings and continuing legal education.
