Job summary

Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP) seeks full-time English-Spanish bilingual attorneys to join NWIRP’s Granger or Wenatchee offices. Applicants must be fluent in English and Spanish, with a start target in Fall 2027 and a minimum two-year commitment.

NWIRP offers an exempt, salaried role with competitive base pay and a comprehensive benefits package; hybrid work model is in place. Office locations include Granger and Wenatchee in Washington State.

Qualifications

• Law degree and admission to the bar in any U.S. state.
• Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages encouraged.
• Ability to provide trauma-informed, culturally inclusive representation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct representation in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and on appeal.
• Represent affirmative USCIS and Department of State applications.
• Conduct legal clinics, presentations, and intakes by phone or in person.
• Analyze cases to determine eligibility for immigration protections.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and policies affecting low-income immigrants.
• Organize and maintain client files and grant-related records.
• Participate in outreach, community education, and development efforts.
• Perform tasks assigned by supervisory staff as needed.
