Job summary

Caring Angels Home Care is seeking a full-time Spanish-speaking Intake Coordinator for our Centereach office. The Intake Coordinator plays an integral role in the Intake Department, handling referrals and educating patients about available services.

The ideal candidate speaks Spanish, has knowledge of HHA Exchange, and brings about 1 year of intake experience. This in-person position offers health insurance and paid time off with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Must speak Spanish.
• Must have knowledge of HHA Exchange.
• 1 year of Intake Experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Receive referrals from referral sources.
• Process referrals from marketing sources such as hospitals, nursing homes, and community physicians.
• Verify patient’s insurance to determine eligibility.
• Educate patients on services we provide and determine what services were approved by insurance.
• Contact patients to educate them on the services we can provide and assist with Home Care needs for skilled and non-skilled services.
