Job summary

Thom Child & Family Services in Waltham, MA seeks a bilingual Spanish Developmental Specialist/Early Childhood Educator to join our team for home and community-based services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays.

You will collaborate with families, provide individualized services grounded in evidence-based practice, and support IFSPs with parent coaching, while ensuring cultural respect and family priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an infant/toddler-focused field (Early Intervention or Early Childhood Education).
• Fluency in Spanish required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary assessments of developmental status.
• Assess family and child strengths and progress.
• Provide child- and family-centered services for birth to three.
• Coordinate and monitor intervention plans and timelines.
• Develop IFSP goals with families and strategies.
• Support parent–child interactions and advocacy.
• Document progress notes and correspondence in the electronic system.
