Job summary

ALAY Home Care is seeking compassionate, Spanish-speaking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities throughout New Jersey.

The role involves assisting with ADLs, providing companionship, supporting community participation, and following individual support plans. CPR/First Aid and a valid driver's license are required, with background checks and NJ DDD compliance necessary.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish is required; English communication skills are preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Background checks, fingerprinting, and NJ DDD requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, personalized support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with ADLs and daily routines.
• Offer companionship, guidance, and emotional support.
• Support participation in community activities and appointments.
• Follow individual support plans and behavioral strategies.
• Assist with medication administration as trained and allowed.
• Document services and daily activities accurately.
• Use EVV to record shift start/end times.
