Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking a Spanish Speaking-Center-Based Behavior Technician to join our team. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

The role focuses on teaching communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques. Training is provided; you will be part of a supportive team that values safety and compassion and is committed to making a real difference.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Sits down and stands up from the floor or chair many times throughout the work day.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.
• Running or moving quickly as needed to interact with, and for the safety and protection of your client(s).
