Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking Spanish Onsite Contract Interpreters in the Minneapolis, MN Metro Twin Cities area to facilitate accurate and meaningful communication on accepted onsite assignments.

Contract interpreters will provide consecutive English-Spanish interpretation, plus remote interpretation when needed, following industry protocols and client requirements. Independent contractors must meet standards and confidentiality obligations.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in English and Spanish.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional interpreting experience.
• Ability to provide consecutive interpretation.
• Successful completion of language/interpreting proficiency evaluations.
• Submit a current résumé in English during the application process.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy, security, and data-protection requirements including HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA.
