Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking Spanish onsite contract interpreters in Willmar, MN to provide accurate consecutive interpretation and remote interpretation when needed. Interpreters must be proficient in English and Spanish and comply with applicable privacy and professional standards.

Contractors must meet education and credentialing requirements, be at least 18, and be able to travel to onsite assignments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Ability to accurately provide consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish.
• Successful completion of applicable language and interpreting proficiency evaluations.
• Submission of a current résumé in English during the application process.
• Background checks and other client credentialing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an accepted assignment.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Comply with Propio and client confidentiality, privacy, security, and ethics requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy, security, and data-protection requirements (HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and client requirements).
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, patients, and other participants.
• Maintain language proficiency and subject-matter knowledge to perform assignments accurately.
