Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• At least 1 year of professional interpreting experience.
• Ability to travel to onsite assignments.
• Ability to meet health and immunization requirements per client/location.
• Background checks or screenings may be required.
• Résumé in English during the application process.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an accepted assignment.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy, security, and data-protection requirements (HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA) as appropriate.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, patients, customers, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain language proficiency and subject-matter knowledge to perform assignments accurately and professionally.
