Job summary

Cook Children's Health Care System in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a PRN Spanish Interpreter to provide interpretation for patients, families, visitors, and staff during designated hours. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Ability to translate critical medical information accurately between English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face interpretation for patients, families, visitors, and staff during designated hours.
• Serve as language liaison between patient/family and staff to support the medical plan of care.
• Facilitate access to interpreter services for non-Spanish languages via OPI/VRI/contract services.
