Job summary

Cook Children’s Health Care System in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced Spanish translator/interpreter for the Emergency Department. You will provide emotional support to families in crisis and translate for all aspects of emergency care.

Requirements include an Associate degree, at least two years of direct patient care experience, and proficiency in English and Spanish. Heart saver certification within 30 days is required; testing applies.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• Two years direct patient care experience preferred.
• Spanish interpreters/translators must meet proficiency levels.
• Testing for Spanish proficiency administered before completion of employment.
