Riggs Community Health Center is seeking a Medical Interpreter to support Spanish-speaking patients in a small clinic setting. The role involves interpreting between English and Spanish, translating documents, and maintaining translation records to ensure accurate patient communication.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a medical interpreter, strong language skills, and the ability to assist with patient scheduling and paperwork.

Formación

• Experience as medical interpreter in clinical settings.
• Strong verbal and written translation skills in Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret spoken statements between Spanish and English.
• Translate documents and forms; rewrite materials in Spanish.
• Maintain records of translated materials and create documents in Spanish.
• Provide telephone interpretation for patients when needed.
• Attend mandatory in-services and assist clinical staff with paperwork.
• Support patient appointments, medications, and follow-up communications.
