Mass General Brigham in Boston seeks a bilingual medical interpreter to ensure accurate interpretation and translation of patient information and care instructions. You will collaborate with qualified auxiliary interpreters to support language access for diverse patients and families, including sight and written translation of materials.
The role emphasizes documentation, coordination, and training staff on telephone interpretation tools. Shift: 30 hours per week, onsite at 75 Francis Street.

Responsible for facilitating the successful delivery of services to patients and family members of various languages. Follows requests for interpretation, collaborating with qualified auxiliary interpreters for comprehensive accommodation of interpretation requests. Provides translation service (both sight translation & written translation) of pertinent materials for patients and families, such as written information regarding relevant services, pre-operative, post-operative, discharge instructions, patient and family education, and follow-up care materials.
