Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Spanish Language Expert to help shape AI communication for real Spanish speakers. This fully remote, hourly-contract role focuses on evaluating and improving AI-generated content to sound natural, accurate, and culturally appropriate.

You will review translations, flag issues, and provide actionable feedback on linguistic quality. The role offers flexible hours (10–40 per week) and potential for ongoing work with no prior AI background required.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just a deep command of Spanish and a sharp eye for quality.

What You'll Do

• Review AI-generated Spanish translations and original content for accuracy and naturalness
• Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, register mismatches, and cultural issues
• Suggest clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate improvements
• Provide structured, detailed feedback on linguistic and cultural quality
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish
• Strong written communication skills in Spanish
• Solid command of contemporary Spanish usage across different contexts and registers
• Naturally detail-oriented with a consistent, methodical approach
• Comfortable evaluating written language quality across a variety of topics
• No prior AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience in translation, localization, editing, or linguistics
• Familiarity with AI tools or language evaluation workflows
• Knowledge of regional Spanish variations — Latin American, Castilian, or otherwise
• Background in communications, education, journalism, or content review
