Dual-language (Spanish immersion) positions are part of a K-5 program in which students learn in two languages, building bilingualism, biliteracy, and strong academic foundations. Similar to elementary school teachers, dual language teachers lead classes in core subjects while teaching the class in Spanish with one of two models: full immersion (90% Spanish) or a 50/50 split between English and Spanish.

The post is offered through Participate Learning, which since 1987 has connected international educators with U.S. schools through cultural exchange. The successful candidate joins as an Ambassador Teacher in Wake County, North Carolina.

Start date: start of the 2027-28 school year.
