Job summary

Participate Learning seeks ambassador teachers to educate elementary students (KG–Grade 5) in U.S. schools, primarily in Virginia, North Carolina or South Carolina. You will teach Spanish and support cultural exchange through immersive classroom experiences.

Requirements include a bachelor degree, 2+ years of teaching, a teaching credential/license, strong English skills, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to commit for at least two years. Visa guidance and relocation support provided.

Responsibilities

• Teach Spanish language to KG–Grade 5 students in partner U.S. schools
• Communicate effectively in Spanish and English within the classroom
• Collaborate with school staff and local community mentors
• Participate in ongoing mentoring, professional development and leadership activities
• Share your culture and ideas with students, families and staff

We’re seeking:

Qualified primary/elementary teachers who can also communicate in Spanish and English. Are currently teaching, with training and experience teaching children aged 5–11 and at least two years of full-time, postgraduate teaching experience.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: Bachelor
• Teaching Experience: 2+ years
• Licenses & Certifications: Teaching Credential/License
• Additional School Requirements: Hold a university degree in teacher education or the subject they teach, equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree. Demonstrate strong English proficiency for teaching and everyday communication. Hold a valid driver’s licence. Be available to teach with Participate Learning for at least two years. Meet the teaching and licensing requirements of the placement state, assessed during the application process.
